THE GRAND FINALE
Well, sadly today was our travel day home. There is not much interesting to report - we got up very early and were out the door by 6:30 a.m. Last night, while in the pueblo, we stopped at a bakery and bought some pastries to eat in the car for breakfast. We took the long drive to Cancun, dropped off the rental car and headed to the airport. We were back home, walking in our front door by around 4:00 p.m. It was really surreal to wake up in Tulum and then a few hours later be walking in the front door of our house in a totally different environment. Although we had a fantastic trip, we were happy to be home and see our boys. Their adorable little faces make coming home easy to take.
You know how at the end of a fireworks display there is a grand finale? Well, to alleviate the depression of the trip being over, I thought I would end this report with an explosion of photos and videos.
